Please join us for the St. George Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, December 19, 2020. We'll be following COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe. These include:

1. We have canceled the in-person compilation gathering; we'll conduct it via Zoom.

2. Social distancing or masking is required at all times in the field.

3. Carpooling may only occur within existing familiar or social “pod” groups.

As never before we need lots of birders, whether beginners or experts, to find all the feathered beasts using St. George as a winter hideout. The scenery is spectacular and our local naturalists can guide you to the best wintering birds. Please register with the lead compiler, Ken Hinton - (kenahinton@hotmail.com), 435-772-1019, leaving your name, contact information, and whether you’re familiar with the area. The CBC is the longest running citizen science effort in the world. Come be a part of the fun this year in southern Utah!
