Winter Bird Festival Committee
is making plans
for truly significant Presentations/Workshops. New
trails and old trails have been assigned for
Field Trips. The Vermillion Flycatcher has already
been seen in three separate areas. Live raptors are
making their way to eight schools with Jen Hajj from
Hawkwatch. Update: The Banquet and Festival Field Trips that require registration can be found on the City of St. George Recreation page. Winter Bird Festival Photo Contest. Prizes will be awarded at the Banquet. The Junior Birder Program will be available for lots more of our youth. Evening presentations: Thursday - Abbie Inn - Rick Fridel will let you take a Look at the Birds coming to the Festival. Friday - DSC, Eccles Fine Arts Center - Lynn Chamberlain will show wildlife photography at its finest. Saturday - Abbey Inn - Dinner and then Jim Parrish - Peregrine Fund, will have stories and pictures of those mighty Condors. All of this is FREE except for the food.
